From my thread on the Crosshair here: http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=2565
Yes might be a weird question but I wonder if it's possible to make so Reasnow works on PC, That I plugin a PS4 controller, K&M to the reasnow, Then to PC and play.
Thanks

we tested your suggestion, it can work here in our company,
but there are still some questions which make us do not push it further.
1. ReaSnow S1 will be recognized as a controller by PC,
but shall it be recognized as a PS4 controller or a Xbox One controller or a Xbox 360 controller?
2. which are the games on PC that will need such a converter?
3. Will other gamers need such a feature?
for this kind of new feature will cost us lots of time and effort.

1. I have a PS4 controller so making so the PC think it's a PS4 controller would be amazing but to fit most customers of Reasnow it would be best if it could recognize what controller you have plugged in to the device.
2. A lot of games where you rather want a controller input scheme instead of normal K&M inputs. A bit more advantage for us casual fps players as well.
3. Im sure other people want this as well, For example your biggest competitor XIM has this feature, It's never bad to add more features to appeal to a larger amount of people!

Hi Triforce,
thanks for the feedback!
and we think it's a good idea to support PC.
but why will you need a PS4 controller as the input device?
as i know, Xbox one controller will be more popular and has less trouble to be used on PC.
in fact, we can just turn keyboard and mouse into any controller without a real controller connected to USB 1.
but it will mean tons of extra effort for us:)

Hi sorry late reply,
Plugging in an Xbox controller would be just fine for me
-
got it, thank you! will add this in our TODO list.

Hi Triforce,
we have made S1 work on PC,
here is an alpha version for you.
please try and provide some opinions and feedback:)
http://www.reasnow.com/download/ReaSnowApp/ReaSnow%20Flash%20ToolV5.3.8.zip
1. connect PS4 controller to USB1 of S1, and keyboard and mouse to USB2/3 of S1,
then connect S1 to PC
2. add a config in S1 with our APP(V1.2.12 )
then you can use it as it is on PS4.
In this way, S1 will be recognized as a PS4 controller on PC.

please stick to this topic for technical support

we tried this game on PC, it can only support Xbox controller,
altough PS4 controller is also showed in its settings.
so here are what we should do:
1. connect Xbox One controller to USB1 of S1, and keyboard and mouse to USB2/3 of S1,
then connect S1 to PC
2. add a config(e.g. fortnite) in S1 with our APP(V1.2.12 )
S1 will then be recognized as a Xbox One controller on PC.

Hi!
I haven't tried this but planning to test it soon,
Should I use the latest patch in Reasnow or the one above?
-
just try the latest ones:
Flash Tool V5.3.41
ReaSnow Manager APP V1.2.31
-
When ReasnowS1, DS4 and K & M are connected to the PC and the specific software is started on the PC, the LED lights up blue and the beep sounds continuously, and the ReasnowS1 does not work.
Is there a solution?
-
if you got some continous beeps from ReaSnow S1,
please check this list for trouble shooting
"Warning and Solution"
it can be found here:
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=2612.0
and if it fails to help you,
a video to show us your trouble will be better.
-
I tried all the troubleshooting but didn't solve it.
By the way, the software started is XIM LINK.
-
please follow this video carefully.
ReaSnow S1 Quick Guide

altough it is for PS4, but when ReaSnow S1 is used on PC,
it is the same way.
If you can't fix it, please send a video to show us your trouble.

Does ReasnowS1 detect software?
If you detect it, you want to disable it
-
sorry, I didn't understand that.
Could you explain it in a different way?
-
I am disabled player (left hand).
I can press, but having troubles lifting my left hand fingers.
So I can't use keyboard to do WASD move, but can use gamepad to do it.
I need a gamepad and mouse to do k/m playing style.
And there are some games not allowing you to use gamepad and mouse at the same time.
I use a logitech gamepad to simulate WASD key, but it's complex to setup all the keyboard mapping for each game.
Steam games usually respond well to reasnow s1, but Division from uplay cannot recognize s1 as a supported controller.
If you can make s1 known as DS4 or XBox Controller to PC, that will be my very valuable accessory to let me be able to do gaming, thank you.
-
got it, thanks for the explanation!
will look into it and get back to you later.

this feature has been added long ago,
so sorry that we forgot to update this thread.
