some questions about wheel settings
« on: March 24, 2022, 04:37:31 PM »
I am using G29 to connect xbox series s, playing horizon 5.
In legacy mode, there are some settings such as "game deadzone" and "deadzone". What do they mean respectively? How do they influence the game?
In expert mode, there is only "FFB" setting, others are gone. And there is no vibration or rumbles in this mode. Did I miss something? I think expert mode should have more settings than legacy mode.
Cheers.

In Expert Mode, your wheel will work as a real steering wheel(G29/G920), which can be recognized by the console.
so all the settings can be done in the game as you did to a G29/G920.
on Xbox console, the expert mode is a beta one, there is no FFB support.

In Legacy Mode, your wheel will work as a controller, and it will also be treated as a controller by the console.
those settings are what a controller will need.
