Lost connection

First of all congratulations, Cross Hair is an excellent product and has reactivated my G27 steering wheel! I need a bigger cable (mini usb to USB) to connect the Cross Hair to the PS4, I used an extender by connecting the original Cross Hair cable to one of the USB tips and the other end of the extender on the PS4 but after 5 min the Cross Hair loses the connection, something that does not happen if I connect the original cable of the Cross Hair directly.
How can I solve this? Is there any USB cable specification for an extender or spec so I can buy a mini USB to USB larger cable?

A USB extender with very good quality will be what you need,
which can support 1.5A current and USB 2.0 protocol.

but generally speaking, we do not suggest users use usb extenders,
for USB signal quality will, of course, drop with that.
