Yesterday I updated the latest firmware and the mobil app and saw in this topic the 1000 hz feature. I was curious about the difference from 500hz how i used it before so I changed the polling rate to 1000 hz on the mouse and the reasnow manager.
To be honest it was not as good as I expected. The mouse movements especially the turning speed the quick moves became unpredictable. Sometimes it felt like too slow and too fast in close combat situation in BF2042 which i tested in.
I suppose this happened because my Logitech G403 is not the best which would be able to keep the 1000 hz permamently. It is just close to the 1000 hz but always variable which is why the movements were much worse than in 500HZ.
1000 HZ could be good if a mouse had 2000 HZ polling rate max then it could keep the 1000HZ constatnly.

1000hz will bring less delay, that is sure.
but why will you expect better aiming or better mouse control with such a change?
since most of the games are 30hz, 60hz or 120hz,
they will not deal with the crowded data, just accumulate and use them when a new frame comes.

Agreed :)
At the same time regarding to more kind of adapters I've seen on different forums that players are advised to use higher and higher DPI on their mice 12000 or higher like 25000 which seems to me huge based on my experience. I know it depends on the game type and personal preference but in shooters the more DPI I used (8000-12000) the worse and instabile the aiming was and I was getting shot many times even in close combat situation. Now i use 5000 DPI with 500HZ that seems perfect.

that is why we recommend 5000dpi/500hz for most gamers:)
