How to get Switch configs on Manager App
« on: September 21, 2023, 03:44:15 AM »
I am unable to find anyway to get Switch configs on my app. I feel like this is the reason I am unable to use the S1 on my switch.

To clarify, my switch detects the reasnow. It says a controller is detected but it only presses one button 3 times in rapid succession and nothing else after. I assigned it a config but not a Switch one, as I am unable to locate any.

Update: I located how to boot the app into Swtich mode. Only thing is when I try to open up the app it states "Please boot later!" and the device gives an RGB cycle. I up on the most recent firmware and beta as of the time of this message.

Here's the ReaSnow S1 user manual.
http://www.reasnow.com/download/ReaSnowApp/ReaSnow%20S1-UserManual.pdf
For SWITCH, there are two important points to note
1. Disable Auto Sleep
2. then enable Pro Controller Wired Communication
Did you do that?

Came back 6 hours later. No booting of the app. I'm assuming it has to do with Booting into Switch config. I went into the firmware and put it to boot into xbox and ps4 and they both loaded the app with no issue. Only Switch says "Booting, please open this APP later!"

Hello. That has been completed. But my issue isn't playing on the switch itself, it's getting the configs on the Manager App. Please refer to my most recent message.

1. Fully restart the console, and try again later.
2. See this video: https://youtu.be/pfXLvk8ggzw
The way of getting configs for Switch on the ReaSnow APP are same.

My issue is not with the console. It's with the Manager app. The video does not show how I'm able to boot up Switch configs. I figured out going into settings or in the firmware I can boot it to Switch mode, but when I do it doesn't let me get in the APP manager. It just shows the S1 with an icon of a switch and says "Boot APP later!"

I just want to get passed this part so I can add a switch config to my reasnow.

here are some things to follow before using S1 with a SWITCH:
1. SWITCh should be set as shown in this picture:
https://i.postimg.cc/x1sXhSHq/SWITCH-1.jpg

2. leave USB1 of S1 open, do not plug any peripheral into it.

3. do not turn on any PRO controller while using S1 on SWITCH

if your APP still can't connect to S1, it means S1 has not set up a proper connection with SWTICH.
this might also be caused by a bad SWITCH dock.

you can check the dock by plugging a PRO controller into its USB port,
and check its connection in SWITCH, there should be a "USB" on the controller screen.
