I'm also curious to know how this is going to work, because this will impact not only adapters but 3rd party controllers and everything, so it's a big gray area.

Admins, Richard and the others... Any updates on that?

S1 uses an original controller to communicate with the console, so don't worry.

I'm not questioning this reply, however could someone from the S1 administration provide actual evidence by updating an Xbox to the Insiders update and then check whether S1 is being detected or not?

Although I'm with you and I don't think we'll be affected, I would like some evidence of it, otherwise I will have to test it myself and I would prefer not to upgrade it to Insiders again, as I left it a few weeks ago.

We've joined the Xbox Insiders program. But now there are no updates for our console. After updates are available, we'll analyze that.
