Strange issues with Nintendo Switch
« on: November 02, 2018, 06:08:55 AM »
Hi there,

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I got this device a few hours ago and have been battling a bit to set it up. I'm using Cross Hair Manager V4.5.67 with the firmware upgraded.

1) When I make a custom profile for the switch, the right analog seems to be stuck in the bottom left position (Tried on Xbox One, Mouse and Keyboard, Nacon controller). Using a predefined game profile does not have this issue. Am I maybe missing a setting?

2) I can't get the analogs working for the Nacon Revolution controller. The forward and backward motion works on the left analog, but that's about it. I see on the supported controllers forum post that it requires manual settings, but I can't figure out how to rebind the analogs on the desktop app to the analogs on the controller (Moving it doesn't do anything).

Thank you! :)

Update:
My 2 PS4 controllers also have issues on the Switch. The left analog can move backwards and forwards, but doesn't recognize left and right movements. The right analog works as expected (Using a predefined game profile). Has this been experienced before?

Update 2:

Did some more experimenting and it definitely seems to be an issue with the latest firmware. I downloaded last month's cross hair manager and firmware and the PS4 controllers started working again. There was still the issue with the right analog being stuck in the bottom left corner and inverted controls on custom profiles. So I installed the version from June, and everything is working perfectly (No right analog being stuck or inverted mouse controls).

I however still cannot get the Nacon Revolution Pro right analog stick to work...

hi xenonification, we did find some bug in this firmware, will fix it soon.
thanks for your support!

As for Nacon Revolution Pro controller,
it has been recognized as a flight stick,
so change the Yaw and Throttle's mapping to right stick  in "flight stick settings" in your config,
it will work.

Hi Richard, thank you for the feedback! :)

Also, that solution works perfectly for the Nacon, feel silly for not trying it. Now all my controllers work for it :)

Awesome, will test it out when I get back on Tuesday. I see the ps4 controllers were mentioned. Does this also include a fix for the inverted mouse controls and right analog being stuck in the bottom left position for new custom profiles?

Thanks for the quick response :)
