« on: January 18, 2016, 03:06:51 AM »
hi richard

i recently updated to the latest crosshair firmware but ever since the latest ps4 firmware update, the crosshair seems to disconnect every 10 mins or so from the ps4, isthis an issue with the crosshair or with the latest ps4 update?

I too am having a problem

The Cross Hair seems to be running correctly. No beeps, breathing fine.

When I start up Project cars on PS4 it wont recognize the "X" button so I cant start the game. I tried unplugging it and plugging the G25 into the second port. Sure enough the "x" works so I can play the game but now L1 and R1 dont work.

Im not sure what to do next to get it all working again? Maybe delete project cars right off the harddrive but then all my data will be lost.

I even connected the Cross Hair back into the PC and updated it again and re added project cars on the list.

The product has been amazing so far.Ive had no issues for the past 3 weeks.

Cheers
Rich

Please follow strictly, it may solve your problem:

1. make sure your Project Cars gets the default button layout

2. close your Project Cars on PS4

3. logout all all your users

4. delete all the configurations in Cross Hair,
and add the preset Project Cars in it, do not change any settings,
   then save.

5. turn off your PS4's controller before connecting.

6. Firstly, connect the PS4's controller (USB PORT1) and
the wheel (USB PORT2 or 3) to Cross Hair, and then connect Cross Hair to console. A breathing color means it's working well.

7. During the power-on procedure, do not press the PS/GUIDE button on contorller, unless LOGO of Cross Hair is breathing.

8. Try the buttons on your G25 and the shifter in main UI of PS4

9. then try the buttons on your G25 and the shifter in the game(Project Cars)

Hey Richard

Yes. I have done all of the above mentioned.
That is exactly what route I took when X, L1 and R1 stopped working.

Now check this out. When I take the wheel USB out of the Cross Hair and plug it back in I now have the X button but still no L1 or R1. I think my product might be defective but I hope I can find a fix. I assume coming from China there are no returns so I may have to buy another which I'm not totally happy about. I would upgrade to  G29 but my G25 is heavily modified.
Even when not in the game X, L1 and R1 do not work. Every other button is fine.

Again this just happened out of the blue. The product has been perfect up until this point.

Update:

Cross Hair is not the problem.
Modified paddle shifters on the G25 were stuck on so it was like the R1 button was always on.

Glad to report Cross Hair is working fine and my wheel with the new paddles was the issue.
