XBOX One
« on: April 27, 2017, 06:53:04 PM »
Hi, we recently ordered a few Cross Hair adaptors and have found that they work really well on the PS4.

We have tried getting them working on the XBOX one, but at the moment we find that when we plug it in, the Cross Hair beeps rapidly and constantly, and the controller will not work

Just to help with problem solving...We have tried: Two Cross Hairs that have had the most recent firmware update, and two that have not had this update

We have tried 6 different micro USB cables

We have tried all of the above on an XBOX One S and on an XBOX One (both are fully updated)

We have tried with two different XBOX One controllers

But no luck so far unfortunately. Do you have any advice, please? Thank you in advance

Joe

since you get warnings during the usage,
you can easily solve it according to the beeps and color of Cross Hair LOGO.
Beeps and color of Cross Hair LOGO will be a vital clue to find the reason.

Please check pdf file in this topic

it will tell you why you are having this problem,
and some suggestions to solve it.

If you can't solve it yourself, please provide more detail of your problem.
so we can help you accordingly.

Hi, Thanks for this. I will check. Can I just ask...If I was playing COD on PS4, and then unplugged the Cross Hair and plugged it into an XBOX One to play the same game would it work straight away? Or would I need to plug the Cross Hair back into the laptop and select the XBOX One controller in the start up section?

Many thanks

you can just add different games into ps4 and xbox one platforms in Cross Hair Manager seperately,
and select one "startup" config for each platform.

in this way, you can switch between different consoles easily.
plug and play. 8)

Hi Richard

I can use the ps4 controller on my xbox one s without problems, but i cannot use the xbox one s controller on the ps4 (the analog sticks are not working).
Everything else works, but analog sticks don't. I've added some games for each platform and set a startup for each of them. Keyboard and mouse works fine on ps4.

Is there any way to map the analog sticks ?or what config should I download for ps4 to use xbox one s controller?

no need to map analog sticks, just follow the instructions below:

1. add a "CUSTOM GAME" config for PS4 and set it as "Startup" and save.
2. Firstly, connect the DS4 to USB PORT1 of Cross Hair and X1S controller to USB PORT2 or 3 of Cross Hair,
then connect Cross Hair to console.
wait for the breathing LOGO,  it will work then.
