After Upgrading to latest firmware, reasnow no longer works while connected to xbox one.
It just cycles through red, green and blue LEDs, App is saying booting, try later.
the light is green when connected to the PC using same cable (not pressing the physical button on the device)
app v1.5.8
firmware v5.6.16
hardware 1.8.8
bootloader 3.6.0

same micro USB cable works fine when connected to PC.
I have tried Xbox one and xbox 360, I get exactly same symptoms.
USB ports on the console work fine with both controller and logitech wheel plugged in.

1. try a new usb cable for your xb1 controller
2. remove xb1 controller's battery

Hi Richard,
Thanks for taking time to reply.
I have tried another cable, same problem.
Also, the cable just work fine when connected directly from xbox to controller.
Yes, there are no batteries in the controller, I am able to power the controller up fine.
I noticed that if I connect reasnow device to PC, green light stays on and controller can be turned on.
If I plug the reasnow to xbox, using same cable, controller will power up but then turn off. The device will then start to cycling through 3 LED colour blink.

1. Update ReaSnow S1 firmware and APP to the latest beta versions(firmware:v5.6.30, app: 1.5.9-20221010)
which can be downloaded from this URL:
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=3025.0
2. connect peripherals to S1 and then plug S1 into your XB1 console,
run our APP if it still flashed RGB colors, and take a screenshot.
send us the screenshot and a video to show us your whole wiring procedures.

Hello Richard.
Thank you again for trying to help.
I have a funny feeling this is somewhat related to latest xbox one X/seriesX update. Since this update some games cannot be launched with wheel connected. This happens with most wheels (from internet forums)

I will opt to wait for microsoft to release a patch and report back.
I've spent past few days trying to get my xbox to behave, even ended up installing SSD and reinstalling system and all games from scratch.

Hello,
No more bug with xbox and USB connected steering wheel.
Upgraded to beta firmware v5.6.30, I can't do the app as I'm on iOS, I don't think it's relevant though as the device will not boot correctly when connected to console. it will boot just fine when connected to a PC (with and without holding a button on the case)
the problem is still present, when connected to console the LED will get stuck, cycling through 3 light colours. when connected to PC, it will boot to green LED.
Please advise

Can anyone help?

1. to get the beta app for iOS,
install "testflight" from APP store,
and then click the following URL to get our beta APP.
https://testflight.apple.com/join/byYqE7bN
2. run the installed APP and send us the screenshot if you still face the same issue.
3. remove its battery from the controller before connecting it to S1
4. connect your controller to a PC with the same USB cable and find it "Printers and Devices"
to check whether it works well or not.

The cable works fine, I used same cable to update the firmware. Any idea why the device does not boot when connected to xbox?

can you send us a screenshot of the booting page of our app?
