Title: S1 stopped working 🫠
Post by: uThunder7z on June 26, 2023, 04:29:16 AM
My S1 stopped working after I didn't use it for 3 days, it just doesn't turn on anymore. Whether on my Xbox or PC. I already changed it and tested it with 2 other micro-USB cables to confirm that it wasn't the cable from the S1. I don't want to send it back to the seller without first trying everything to get it working again.

So sorry for the trouble while using ReaSnow products.
In videos below, the LED light on ReaSnow S1 doesn't turn on. It means a hardware problem, and you should contract seller for help.

I've already contacted him, I have to send the product back to him and I'll get a refund, but is there any other way to fix this problem? I'm going to be without my S1 for a while🥲

@uThunder7z
try connecting your Xbox One controller to your PC with a USB cable,
if it can be recognized on your PC, this means the USB cable is good.
you should find an Xbox controller in "Devices and Printers" if it's a Win10 OS.

when you can be sure that this USB cable is good,
try connecting S1 to your PC with the same USB cable.
if this fails too, then you will have to contact the seller for after-sale service.

Before connecting the S1 to your computer, open Device Manager (Win-X -> M). Now connect it while watching Device Manager. Does Device Manager refresh the devices?

A better tool to use is "USBDeview" and/or "DevManView", both free tools from Nirsoft. Sort the tables by Date-descending to see most recent connected devices at the top.
