Title: Having issues with App. (Update: firmware problems?)

So I got an S1 Updated the firmware tried plugging it into the console. Got no light and 3 repeated beeps. Troubleshooting chart says that means there was a firmware issue and I need to factory reset using "flash tool" (App?) Downloaded the app off the forum, let the App do a bunch of loading now it's still loading while saying "Connecting Device". Is my phone incompatible? (Samsung Galaxy S25, V16) or is it due to flash not working anymore? Or am I simply stupid?
Update: after thinking some more I plugged in the S1 with Xbox off. The RGB cycles, then the app says to choose device then just says "booting, please open app later"
Update2: I have tried updating firmware again, resetting data and updating. Plugged every thing in, no dice no light 3 beeps after rgb cycle, cant use app due to not booting (also worth noting that in the app while it says it's booting it recognizes the wheel -g920- but does not think a controller is plugged in -i have tried both Xbox 1 and series controllers and multiple cables- and the S1 thinks my Xbox series s is a PS3)
