Received the S1 from Amazon.co.uk yesterday. No documentation so it's been mostly trial and error. I'd initially tried connecting to our Switch, then opening the iPhone app, but the app couldn't find the S1. A firmware update via a Windows laptop sorted that 8)
The S1 appears to be working: the app now finds the S1, I can configure a Splatoon 2 profile and set my preferred keyboard hotkey (PrtScrn). The LED is pulsing a happy green colour.
The only trouble is..... what now!?
Neither the keyboard nor the mouse work actually do anything. I've tried all sorts of combinations, different controllers, controller settings and... nothing. Is there some major step I'm missing?

Problem solved: had not enabled the wired controller in the Nintendo Switch's settings. I'd actually not realised that was a requirement until you posted the link yesterday, so thank you.
Works well so far. But for most buyers you really need a wiki or some sort of platform specific Knowledge Base site to get them started :)
