A reasonable setting for rainbow six siege
« on: September 09, 2017, 09:52:11 PM »
Hello,

I recently discovered that the DOOM preset works much better in the rainbow six siege game.

So I created this topic as a suggestion for all those who are not satisfied with the R6 preset.

Ideally, R6 preset should be redone, since there is certainly some bug that makes it be floating, imprecise and with a large input lag. For now I advise you to use the DOOM preset.

thanks for sharing your experiences here!

if you tried our R6 preset, you will need to set your game properly.
such as deadzone, sensitivity ...
different settings in game will have different results.
please kindly let us have all these info to verify your conclusion.

The game settings are:

Deadzone: Both in 10
Sensitivity: All in 100

Mouse: G403 prodigy set as 12000 dpi and 500 hz

DOOM preset works 100% better than the R6 preset. Only set yx ratio in 15 (my preference)

I tested this as follows:

Using the game rainbow six siege: Sets the same command as the keyboard to the mouse. The speed at which you can execute the command by the mouse buttons is much higher than the keyboard.

The same does not occur on the pc. It is as if some commands sent by the keyboard were not registered as readily as those sent by the mouse buttons.

It can not be related to keyboard type, because on pc the response speed for keyboard commands are high.

my guess is you might love a faster turning in this game.
if you change HIP and ADS curves in "Curve Editor" R6's preset,
you will get the same result.

whatever, to use Doom's preset with R6 will do no harm.
you can choose what you like.
