Technical problems
« on: April 21, 2018, 04:14:50 AM »
On my crosshair when plugged into my xbox everything runs and lights up how it's supposed to but it just won't let me use the b button, I thought maybe the button just stopped working so I remapped it to a button I knew did work and the problem persisted so I know it's not a faulty mouse button, any suggestions?

but why is there a "b" button on mouse?
can you state your trouble more clearly?

It's a mouse button I have mapped to b for Xbox, the mouse button works but in game it doesn't respond

can you provide the screenshots of settings of our mouse(in mouse driver) and cross hair?
so we can check that for you.

or send them to our support email: support@reasnow.com

When I have the cross hair plugged to my computer it registers "back" (the button I had set as B) and on my xbox when I use my controller and hit b it works but when I plug up the cross hair b doesn't function on the mouse or my xbox controller

I'm not sure how I do that, but basically the simplest way I can word this is when the cross hair is plugged into my Xbox the b button on the Xbox controller (crouch/prone button) won't work, and any button I have mapped to B (crouch/prone) doesn't work. Like if I don't have the cross hair plugged in and I hold B I will lay down, but with the cross hair plugged in if I hold B nothing will happen, the cross hair just isn't registering the press, it only became a problem the other day which is what led me to believe maybe my mouse button broke but it's still fully functioning, I don't know what's wrong with the cross hair

Tried the b (prone/crouch) button on my PS4 and it yielded the same results so it's not system settings, and all my mouse buttons work so it hasn't to be something inside the cross hair messing it up, maybe coding

firstly, there is no need to worry about our coding,
if that is the reason, no one can use cross hair properly.

and you just said  "it only became a problem the other day"
that proves it too.

here some tips for you:
1. connect xbox one controller to PC with a usb cable.
find your controller in"control pannel"->"devices and printers"
then test the B button in "game controller settings"
2. restore cross hair to factory default and add one new config to do the test again on cosnole.
do not change any thing in the config
3. while testing the B button on PS4, is xbox one controller connected to USB port 2 or 3 of cross hair?
does Circle button on DS4 work normally, when xbox one controller is detached?

The controllers work individually but when I plug them up to the cross hair "b" on my controller and on my mouse won't work; the button I have set as B on my mouse is the "back" button, whenever I'm in the manager and set it to a controller button in the text box it says "back" so that's how I know the button works and the crosshair can read it, it just won't do it in the game. I tried resetting it by deleting all my profiles off of it and remaking them and the problem is still occuring

have you done 1 and 3 mentioned above?
any report?

one more thing(4), remove mouse and keyboard from cross hair,
just connect your xbox controller to usb port 1, and try again.

Update: I went to logitech mouse options and mapped the "back" button on the mouse to a keyboard key and then made that key the crouch button so transitively when I hit the button on my mouse crosshair reads it as a key press ND does the action, that worked for like an hour and now it's not wanting to register anymore, any ideas?

1. keep only one config in cross hair, and delete all others.
2. keep only one profile for your mouse in Logitech Gaming Software.
please make sure you have done all these, and test again.

2. if you still can't fix it, please send a screenshot of your settings for logitech mouse and the exported configs in cross hair to the following email:

Can you explain how to reset it? Because the first time I just deleted both profiles I made on it but I have no idea how to actually reset it

better to try a new and qualified usb cable to connect your controller to cross hair.

and this topic might help you too:
