Paroblems connecting to Switch (green Logo)
« on: January 15, 2019, 02:38:28 AM »
Hi,
I've followed your guide and done the following

1-downloaded the manager, the switch version, the one with the specific switch pdf instructions included
2-plugged the crosshair to my laptop, updated the firmware, loaded three profiles, saved them, unplugged the crosshair
3-modified pro controller and sleep mode settings on the switch
4-plugged a keyboard and a mouse to port 2 and 3 on the crosshair
5-plugged the crosshair to the switch via a usb port in the back first, and then the bottom one on the side

keyboard and mouse are not detected. the Crosshair does four short beeps when turned on and stays on a green logo
If connected to my laptop, it does four short beeps and stays on a green logo, then it appears in the manager (always on the green logo)

what did I miss?

thanks for your help

press the hidden button on cross hair for several times when all are powered off,
then try again.

And here some more questions which will help us to know your situation better:
1. Cross Hair Manager version, which you are using right now.
2. Cross Hair hardware version
3. When did you buy this Cross Hair?
Does it ever work properly?
4. While being connected to PC, what is the color on Cross Hair LOGO?
how many beeps do you hear?

Hi,
thanks for your answer.

Cross Hair Help Information
----------------------------
Manager Ver:3.12.28
GameEngine Ver:1.31.0
Macro Ver:1.10.0
Hardware Ver:1.7.8
Firmware Ver:3.12.28
BootLoader Ver:2.5.0

The Switch Firmware is up to date too.

When connected to the PC the logo is green
When connected to the switch it does four rapid beeps and the logo is green.

I tried the reset button, it didn't seem to do anything. I pressed the button for ten seconds, plugged the crosshair to the PC and it seemd like before, I didn't have to flash the firmware again.

thank you

richard

Hi Richard,
I got a refund for the Crosshair and got a NEW ONE.
So here's what happened:
I updated the firmware, and all versions are the same as the one I posted before.
I configured a couple of profiles, Crosshair logo was white while doinng so.
I checked the Switch settings according to the manual
I plugged the pro controller, the keyboard and the mouse to the crosshair as per the manual
I then plugged the crosshair to the switch
It beepend and turned GREEN
I tried several times, noluck
I unplugged the crosshari and plugged it to the PC, and now all it does is the THREE RAPID BEEPS  and then the GREEN LOGO.
Just like with the previous one
What, is this one faulty too???
Do I have the cursed Switch that render your device inoperable?
What do I have to do to make this thing work???
This is very frustrating.

I'm using a Logitech g203 and a Dell keyboard. My Switch is unmodded.

Please don't tell me I have to get a refund for this one too. I tried the reset button on the Crosshair and it does nothing, just like the other time. Three beeps and the green logo
 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Which Cross Hair Manager are you using?
You should use the v4.x.x version.

and there is no need of a pro controller to use cross hair with switch.
just connect keyboard and mouse to cross hair,
then connect cross hair to switch
