G29 Shifter not working in forza horizon

I have the ReaSnow s1 and I’m trying to use my g29 on Xbox one to play forza horizon. The wheel works perfect but I cant get the shifter to work. The app show it’s working but it doesn’t show up in game. I even tried using the shifter as it’s own accessory but that doesn’t work either. anyone have a solution to this problem?

Switch to expert mode, and try again.
Can your shifter work in expert mode?

I have it in expert it doesn’t work. The app shows the shifter is working and let’s me map all my gears but not the game. It’s not a shifter problem either because it works on every other game.

Which version of Forza Horizon do you play？ We will try figuring out the issue you are facing.

Forza horizon 4 but if I get the shifter to work I will buy 5. So either game working would be perfect

Switch the "shifting"  at "Settings/Difficulty Settings" into "Manual W/Clutch" in game, then your shifter will work.

It’s already in manual with clutch shifter still doesn’t work

we tested everything, our G29 works well here.

1. restore all settings in FH4 and then change  "Manual W/Clutch" for shifting.
2. remove the existing config of Expert Mode, and add a new one, do not change anything in it.
