We made a test and found the game works well whether the Steam controller is enabled or disabled.
So, could you record a video to show us the issue?

Could you please check this game again, because after new anticheat system introduced, the application stopped working!

What do you mean by" application stopped working"? You can't enter the game when S1 is plugged in?
