Is it necessary to update the D1 firmware or is it plug and play?
I saw that ReaSnow D1-FirmwareTool-V1.9.0 is available.

ReaSnow D1-FirmwareTool-V1.9.0 is a firmware update tool, not firmware.
But when you use D1 for the first time, we recommend updating the firmware first.

I have already updated the APP (V1.6.13) and the S1 firmware (S1-FirmwareV5.6.134.bin).

What is the firmware for the D1?

Can I use it now?

D1's latest firmware is V3.8.1, after updating the firmware, you can start using it.

Thank you for the informations. My D1 arrived and is working perfectly.

But I didn't update its firmware, because the D1 page (https://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=4153.0) only has the link to FirmwareTool.

How do I find out the current firmware version of the D1? It would be interesting to have this information in the APP.

You can find the current firmware version of the D1 in the firmware update tool.
