A few days after the start of the new season, I found my Hunt: Showdown account was banned, with the reason stated as "using keyboard and mouse". I sent an email to appeal, but they replied that they have clear evidence.
Here is the official response:
Your account was banned at UTC on April 1, 2026, for using a third-party adapter to simulate a controller while using a mouse and keyboard, with a ban duration of 14 days.
We have conclusive evidence to prove this behavior.
We do not tolerate such behavior. If you are reported and confirmed to have violated the rules again in the future, the ban will be longer, and may even be a permanent ban.

I also tested it on my alt account by applying the SAB settings from Rainbow Six Siege, but I still got banned
