CH beeps continuously
« on: September 05, 2017, 10:35:49 AM »
I just bought a CH, followed the instructions correctly, chose a game, saved the profile, and when I connected to the console, it did not stop beeping. The CH does not turn on any lights. Just beeps.

What happens? I'm desperate!

Hi,

According to your feedback, we are not very sure what you are facing right now.
two factors we will need to support you.
1. color and status of the Cross Hair LOGO
2. how many beeps do you hear in one cycle

and you can also help yourself by download "CrossHair Warning and Solution.pdf" in this topic:
http://www.reasnow.com/forum/index.php?topic=1432.0

Most of the warnings are due to failing to follow the instructions.
Do not worry about that, it can be solved instantly.

PS:
My guess is you will need to repair your firmware,
which can be acheived by following item 35 in "FAQ-Cross Hair-v1.8.pdf"
and you can find this pdf file in "Cross Hair ManagerV1.72.0.zip" in the following topic:

Answering your questions:

1 - The cross hair logo is off
2 - Continuously beeping (watch this video I've filmed: https://youtu.be/EKOJlTR_pyI)

I also can not use Manager. By plugging the Crosshair into my computer, the Manager no longer recognizes my Crosshair.

I'm not at home, but i'll try to download Cross Hair ManagerV1.72.0.zip.

Thank you!

we watched your video, seemingly you have connected Cross Hair to PC successfully,
and trying to save data, but during this an unstable USB connection disrupt this procedure.
so the firmware in Cross Hair is damaged.

And repairing firmware by following our previous instructions will easily solve your problem.

PS, if your problem is solved, please kindly delete this video,
or give a statement in the description to help others, who might face similar problem.
