An 1:N key mapping mode is needed
« on: October 12, 2015, 05:26:13 PM »
1:1 & N:1 mode are really good use, however, i think an 1:N mode is needed.

for example, SPRINT & STEADY has a separate key mapping in BF4/HL(PC version), so it`s clearly to use those keys in any situation.

but in the PS4/X1 version, the controllers don`t have enough buttons to fit all these functions, so, these two functions are blended in 1 key(L3). With the 1:1 mode, i have to set these TWO FUNCTIONS into 1 key, however, i still have dozens of buttons idled on my MOUSE or KEYBOARD.

if we can set the combination key(controller) to N buttons(mouse or keyboard), that will be awesome.

thanks,

richard

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion! We are very glad to hear your opinions!

As for the 1:N function (one key of controller to N keys on mouse or keyboard),
we already have a similar function (secondary mapping) for your usage.
That means one key of controller can be replaced by 2 separate keys on mouse or keyboard or other devices.

As default, the secondary mapping is used for a third-party controller. You can change that to whatever you like.

Primary and secondary mapping are active at the same time,
there is no need of switching between them.

If my words are no clear enough, you can still read chapter:2.2.15 in User Manual for more details.
