Logitec g27 wheel not powering on

So I just bought a C/H for my Xbox one. The game I wanted to use it for was Dirt 4. Set up as directed just picked Dirt Rally for a basic configuration.  Wheel did not light up and steering function failed. Pedals and shifter worked.Tried again with Forza 6 same problem. Paddle shifters work and shifter fine on both. Though my wheel was completely trashed. Plugged G27 directly into xbox and wheel lit up. Also used a direct wired controller. Please help with any suggestions.

do you hear any continous beeps? how many beeps do you hear in one cycle?

PS: All peripheral should be connected to Cross Hair first, before connecting Cross Hair to game console.
