Reasnow Won't Connect to App

I recently purchased a reasnow and when I plug it into my xbox and open my app it will not connect and the app infinitely states "Booting, please open this APP later". Is there a way to fix this?

mostly, it might be caused by the USB cables, replacing those bad cables will solve it.
can you find a controller on this booting page?

if this fails to help,
Please answer the following questions as many as possible,
so we can provide better support for you.

1. ReaSnow S1 firmware version/ APP version
2. your console and game
3. When did you purchase this ReaSnow S1?
Does it ever work properly?
4. The color and state(breathing or stable) of the LED indicator on ReaSnow S1 when you are in trouble?
do you hear any continuous beeps? how many beeps do you hear in one cycle?
5. Which peripherals are connected to ReaSnow S1? please provide the specific model and producer.
PS: All peripherals should be connected to ReaSnow S1 first, before connecting it to a game console.
6. a video to show us your trouble
you can upload the video to youtube or other file-sharing servers, and send us the link.

I had this error when I connected the ReaSnow Crosshair to the switch but did not have a controller connected to the Crosshair.  When I went back and connected the Logitech g920 first to the crosshair and then connected the crosshair to the switch, I was able to connect with the app.  I have a later firmware Crosshair with a Bluetooth dongle in one of the USB ports.
However if I recall, I could connect the crosshair to the PC without a controller and it would connect to the app.

yes, you will need a peripheral on USB2 or USB3, or it will fail to connect to SWITCH properly.
on PC, with no peripheral, it will step into XB360 mode, and work well.
but this XB360 mode will not work on SWITCH.

After plugging in all my peripherals the message I still get on the app is this:

This is what it says on my phone even with everything plugged in correctly. I am still not sure what to do as I cannot use the reasnow properly unless I can access the settings from the app.

Here are my responses to your 6 questions:
1. Firmware 5.5.34 ,APP is most recent update just installed 2 days ago
2. Xbox One, Warface
3. Purchased 5/14/2022, delivered 5/15/2022
4. The LED color when I am in trouble is: Red, Green, Blue on an infinite cycle one color after the other. There is no beeping.
5. Peripherals are: Logitech G403 Hero mouse, Red Dragon Vara keyboard, Standard Xbox One controller

After showing all steps in video 6 I would attempt to connect the Reasnow to my phone app at which point the screenshot I previously attached would appear and nothing would work.


Also just a note I also own a Xim Apex adapter and my peripherals all worked on my Xim never had an issue so I do not think that is the problem.

it seems your keyboard and mouse and the Xbox controller are connected properly.
this issue is caused by a bad connection between ReaSnow S1 and your Xbox One.
here are some things to try:
1. a different or new USB cable to connect ReaSnow S1 to your Xbox One
2. connect ReaSnow S1 to the USB ports on the back of the Xbox One.

I have now used 3 different cords and changed the USB port I plugged them into on my xbox, nothing has worked. Looking at how friends of mine all have their Reasnows setup, I think this Reasnow S1 might be faulty. Is there a way to confirm this? It theoretically should be working especially after using different cords and peripherals and having the same issue. It still will not connect to my app.

1. is it the original controller that came with your Xbox One?
2. connect this Xbox One controller to your PC with a short USB cable,
    check it in "Devices and Printers" in "Control Panel"
3. connect this controller to USB1 of ReaSnow S1, and then connect ReaSnow S1 to your PC.
    if the LED can flash red, it works properly.
4. can you upgrade ReaSnow S1's firmware on PC?

1. Yes it is the original, I have a different controller and when I use it the same outcome. The app cant connect to the reasnow.
2. The controller appears in "Devices and Printers" when I plug it into my pc
3. When I connect the controller to USB 1 of the Reasnow S1, and then plug the Reasnow S1 into my computer, the Reasnow S1 flashes red, then turns solid blue and begins to beep in a pattern of 3, pause, 3, pause, etc. "Beep beep beep (pause) beep, beep, beep (pause, etc.
4.The firmware is already at the most recent being 5.5.34, but I went ahead and updating it again just in case. Then retried the connection and still same issue as shown in previous screenshot. The app does not connect to the reasnow.

Sorry for your trouble while using our product!

with the details provided above, this S1 is a customized version that is not for common users,
it shall be returned to our factory to reflash the boot.
please contact the seller and apply for a replacement.

Can you provide a replacement? I can send you the one I have, amazon is not allowing me to get a refund they stole my money and are not giving me a refund. Can I send it to you instead and then you send me a new one?
