Reasnow S1 doesnt connect to ps5

I bought a p5general, and according to the instructions, it works when connected directly to the PS5, which is what I want to achieve without the PS5mate. But when I connect it, the LED doesn't even light up, even though something near the indicator seems to be trying to light up. Everything connects to the PC fine, though. It seems like the PS5 doesn't give it enough power to turn on. What could be causing this?

This may be because the output voltage from your PS5's USB port is too high, causing the S1 to enter protection mode. You can purchase a USB hub with an additional power supply, connect the S1 to the USB hub, connect the USB hub to the PS5, and simultaneously connect the power supply to the USB hub's power port.
