Please slow down the shaking of Fortnite movement
« on: January 02, 2019, 01:53:28 AM »
I know you added a small jitter to avoid Fortnite kicks but it's way too high and annoying to be honest, If you play solo sure it's fine, But if you play with others they can see your legs jitter back and forth all the time, It never stops.

The only way to stop it is by moving diagonally which prevents the jitter.

Have the jitter on for the first .3 seconds or something then turn it off or drag it down a bit.

It looks super weird for others because your legs litterally stutters all the time, It's not natural and they know something is up and moving diagonally all the time is "fine" but annoying at the same time as it's "required".

Cheers hopefully you manage to slow it down so we don't need to move in a diagonally direction all the time to prevent the leg shaking.

Any idea when you will release a new Reasnow patch?

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the update,
Unfortunately I played a few matches with this and have to report that I will downgrade to 72 again because of these reasons (Not negative, It's feedback to help Reasnow get better!)
  • The shaking that happens for 1 second at the start is way to intese, Anyone seeing it will question what's going on
  • It constantly moves towards the left, It's something I could get used to but if I move forward I want to move forward
  • When you start moving from a stand point (When the shaking starts) it shakes so intensely that you legs just glitches

Cheers!

Hi,
Thanks for the quick updates!

I use a Playstation, Run is not on default (Maybe I should start using it?).

The shake is sometimes more intense than others at the start, after a second or so it looks just normal but it's some intense shaking at the start of the movement making your body almost flitch to the side and back super fast, I wonder if the shake at the start is so necessary, Maybe just add a shake for the first .1 second but not so intense, I feel like it doesn't need to move in almost 45degree angle, Maybe just 5degree shake for a super short time so it's not noticible for other when spectating. (This is what I am worried about, It can shake all it want for me, But when people are spectating I don't want to get reported for "Unusual movement, A lot of movement shaking").

I totally understand if this might be hard to create as it can't be a direct 1:1 movement as fortnite has previously detected that,

I have reverted back to the v72 again as I am used to it and know how to prevent the shaking at start to make it look like real movement and not twitching body / shaking legs.

Maybe if we move forward, It will move 5 degrees to the left (and forward) for .1 second then straight forward, This should be undetectable as it's not a 1:1 movement of straight forward and there should be no shaking at all?

I'm not a pro on this but willing to test any new test patches to get this working super smoothly.

So back to the v80 "issue": Sometimes the entire body flitches and the shaking is sometimes more intense than v72.
Moving in the menu is also impossible, It just skips everywhere but in v72 it's still possible like normal.

seeming this is more complicated than we thought,
might need some time to dig things out.

Sure no problem from me,
Hopefully you find out a way to make it look like real movement again
Cheers

Works amazing now,
Does it still move the joystick in some way or is it all linear now?

Thanks for the update, Played a few games and everything worked amazingly!

it still gives some noise to joystick movement,
but you might not feel it:)
Have fun!
